3FM serious request - gesponsord door DX

Op 15 december 2010 start in CLub NL om 12:00 uur NL Tijd de Serious Request actie. Dat wordt gedaan door een DJ en Host, die 24 uur achter elkaar gaan draaien. Vervolgens is er de hele week 24 uur lang Live muziek,met een live presenterende dj, divese artiesten en surprise guests. Ook zijn er grote sponsoren die ons een heel eind op weg helpen. Waaronder DX als Hoofdsponser. Voor elk plaatje/verzoekje betaal je, door te doneren in de echte brievenbus van het glazenhuis in Club NL. We willen natuurlijk zoveel mogelijk ophalen voor dit goede doel, daarom is alle steun die we krijgen ook belangrijk: dj's, artiesten en hosts...iedereen werkt belangeloos mee.

DX is net als andere jaren hoofdsponsor en verzorgd de plaatsing van de donatiebakken en de inwisseling van de donaties. De actie dit jaar is voor kinderen met aids en kinderen die hun ouders zijn verloren door aids. je kunt alles over de actie terug lezen op:

Estafette for freedom

I have a free life, the country where I live is not in war, I can say what I want, I can walk where I want, I can think what I want, I can dress how I want and I don’t have to feel in danger.
All this feels very natural.
To remind us that this is not so natural and not in reach for every person in the world, we celebrated Freedom Day in the Netherlands on 5 May. First to remember the end of World War II, but now also to celebrate and fight for freedom for all people in the world. A lot of festivals are taking place this day all through the country. One of these festivals is Bevrijdingspop, a big music festival with 120.000 visitors.
And this year Bevrijdingspop in SL! The concert was streamed to hear live and photos of the events transferred and displayed directly to feel the atmosphere of the event! And more… Second Life views were showed during the event, there is a streamer of the RL crew in SL who filmed and projected this film by a beamer on a big screen! Where can you be more free to be who you want to be than in Second Life? We showed that!
